Campaign Update
Missed our Kickstarter Campaign? Never fear! We’re always open… welcome to the Epic Tavern Afterparty!
Every tier and reward is here, with the exception of those that were exclusive backer rewards for the Kickstarter Campaign (thank you again, KS backers!).
All pledges made through PayPal will help push us closer to achieving our remaining campaign goals. As of today, we are at $69,303. Our next stretch goal is the implementation of our mysteriously mystical Elves at $80K!
Game Dev Update
We sat down with Memige, our Lead Programmer of Epic Tavern, and asked him for some game development details!
So Memige - what have you and the programming team been up to this past week developing Epic Tavern?
Memige: We have been working on multiple elements involving the implementation of character-specific features, as well as multiple elements involving quest events.
Wow! So what details could you fill us in on in regards to the work done with the characters?
Memige: Characters now each have custom responses when they join your Roster, for instance. In addition, Fighty Human Female has been added to the game, variant outfits have been added for the Casty Dwarf Male and Fighty Human Female, and animations have been added to the Casty Dwarf Male.
You mentioned quest events - what was added?
Memige: Parties can be wiped out, resulting in quest failure!
Oh my! Well that escalated quickly!
Memige: (laughs) We also added new SFX to celebrate when you acquire a new quest, and when a new Adventurer joins your Roster. We added special icons to the Party on the map to indicate stage rewards.

Since our last update…
We did mention our Social Media goal in backing 3 campaigns at the $200 level, and opening a vote to you all in which ones we would decide to contribute to. We are still finalizing a list, and will get that vote going for you as soon as possible! Stay tuned!
The Temporal Invasion
One of our good friends and PR consultants, Priya Thakkar, was involved with helping to make another indie game called The Temporal Invasion, which was just released on Steam!! It’s getting positive reviews, and is a kind of mystery puzzle game whose challenges require you to do find clues in the real world, outside of the game, which is pretty awesome and sometimes chilling! It’s on a first-look sale right now for 40% off, so if you want a cool game by great people for under $5, head over to Steam and pick it up!

The adventure has just begun! Together, we will develop a game we ALL want to play. Reflecting on the past 33 days of our Kickstarter, we all unanimously agree that, while we learned great lessons along the way, the most valuable thing we have gained throughout the process are new friends... you, our backers! You all are awesome, and we can’t wait to get this game in your hands.

The First Lights have come up, and we are within an hour of the end of our campaign. We are pushing as hard as we can toward unlocking the Elves, but we need your help! Quick! Everyone to the barkeep and put in your last orders! We don’t want to see one Dwarf, Orc, or Humanoid without a cold frothy pint in hand!
We are on our LAST 17 HOURS of our campaign. Backer-exclusive rewards await those who do not wait!
