Campaign Update
We have mentioned Ian Livingstone’s potential contribution to our project in writing a quest chain for us. Some of you, when reading this, might think, ‘Well, I’m not be familiar with Ian - what does he do?’.
Ian Livingstone is an English fantasy author and gaming entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of a series of role-playing gamebooks, Fighting Fantasy, and the author of many books within that series. He is also one of the co-founders of prominent games company Games Workshop, which develops and publishes fantasy games, such as Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, and The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game. It would be an honor if he were to write this for us - and it can only be made possible by you!

Catacombs & Castles is a new, fast paced, tabletop game featuring both cooperative and competitive play styles keeping all players engaged!
Catacombs & Castles uses Elzra’s Dexterity Game System where players skillfully flick their discs representing their chosen hero across the game board using obstacle pieces for cover and trick shots.
Catacombs & Castles has us captivated by the unique gameplay, mystical art-style, and the element of choosing which side you wish to play on. Elzra’s previous game in the series, Catacombs, is a favorite of the Epic Tavern team, and you can watch our team playing it at the office during one of our famous Board Game Nights:

We have about 6 days left for Epic Tavern’s Kickstarter campaign. (WHOA. Time flies!) During this final week, we are still pushing to obtain the amazing stretch goals! Thanks to our ROCKIN’ backers, we’re over $57,000 and close to our $60,000 Stretch Goal of Ian Livingstone designing a quest for us, along with the the inclusion of Elves at $80,000!

Patron Saint of Taverns
Our last updated reward tier, Patron Saint of Taverns, has so many treasures for both in-game and out-of-game life! Firstly, this single generous backer at $10,000 will become our ONE AND ONLY “Patron Saint of Taverns”. Your unique portrait will guide Players through Epic Tavern’s in-game tutorial and it will also hang prominently in the Tavern. Throughout the game, you will be reverentially referred to as "The Patron Saint of Taverns".
Next, this backer will also become THE Tavernmaster at our Launch Party, where your real-life oil portrait will hang for all Taverneers to see! Whether you want to dress the part and come in fantasy garb is entirely up to you! Either way, you’ll act as our honored game and party Tavernmaster! At the end of the night, take home your oil portrait to remember what will surely be an epic Launch Party. This portion does not include flight and hotel accommodations, however, the next feature of this tier is an all-inclusive treasure...
Lastly, backers will receive a PAX Prime Convention Pass, with flight and hotel for two nights included! Spend a Day with the team at PAX and meet some awesome fellow developers, designers, artists, and more!
