Epic Tavern VIP
As we promised, this next update will focus on the additions to our $5,000 Epic Tavern VIP reward tier! At this level, backers will receive a VIP invite to our Launch Party for the full-release of Epic Tavern next year, and you will take home a beautiful oil-painted portrait, painted in the style of Epic Tavern!
Celebrating our full-release is going to be wonderful in itself, but being able to cheers friends, family, and five generous Kickstarter backers will make this triumph even sweeter! E3 Update
Today marked the end of our E3 2016 adventure! We had so much fun catching up with fellow dev and industry friends, and all of us on the Epic Tavern team wore permanent slap-happy grins as we consistently heard positive feedback about the game! Along with all of your awesome feedback, this simply fuels us forward to continue working hard on Epic Tavern and towards that Early Access submission.

E3 + Updated Reward Tiers!
With two weeks left, our Kickstarter is still moving along brilliantly! Again, thank you so much to our unbelievable backers for getting us this far in our Kickstarter journey. Not only have we reached our funding goal, but we’ve reached our first stretch goal and are approaching our second!
As we are based in Los Angeles, we are also going through the lovely madness that is E3. We’re trying to keep up with all of your comments and messages as best we can, so please bear with us while we catch up! If you are also here for E3 and see anyone from the team walking around, come say hi to us!
Also, to bring some additional excitement to our campaign, we’ve added some awesome new rewards to our top tiers at the $2,000, $5,000, and $10,000 levels. We’ll be dedicating this update and our next two, to explaining what each tier includes! To start, let’s chat about the cheers-worthy additions to the $2,000 level.
King’s Entourage: $2,000
At the $2,000 level, backers not only receive TEN digital copies of Epic Tavern to share with their friends, but they will also become an official Lord or Lady, and get to spend a night out with the Epic Tavern team and a guest.
Now, when we say you’ll become an officially Lord or Lady, we mean that we’ll actually bestow upon you an official noble title that you can carry with you for the rest of your life! With this bestowment, you’ll receive: a personalized gold-embossed title certificate, legal title deed, 5 square-feet of dedicated land within the Hougun Manor Estate, title crest postcard, personalized welcome letter, and a color brochure and presentation folder!
As for the epic night out with the Epic Tavern Team, we have a couple of options you and a guest can choose from! The first option is a whimsical evening at Medieval Times, which is perfect for Adventurers of all ages. The second option is to join us at Story Tavern in Burbank where there will be libations, creative discussions, and ping pong (possibly even Beer Pong!), that all takes place in an olden tavern setting! This second option is perfect for Adventurers 21 years of age and older. Again, both selections will include you and an honored guest, and you will be able to learn more about Epic Tavern, our team, and maybe even a secret or two!

And That's a Greenlight!
For the past 16 days, the entire team has been obsessively checking our stats page to look at our votes, comments, and placement in the 2,000+ games on Greenlight. Today, we can officially say we've been Greenlit by the community and it feels amazing!
Thank you to every single one of our supporters and all those who clicked that glorious "Yes" button! This is just the beginning of our Steam journey, and we can't wait to share the rest of our Kickstarter and now Early Access quests with you!

Hello Stretch Goals!
Thanks to our unbelievable backers, we hit $50,000 last night! This unlocks our first stretch goal of quests written by Rebecca Heineman, creator of Bard’s Tale III and Dragon Wars! We cannot wait to read the genius hilarity she creates for Epic Tavern. In running our Kickstarter campaign, we are consistently amazed by our fans, connecting with new fans, and trying in every way we can to make Epic Tavern the best it can be for our fans.
And since we’ve reached another milestone in our funding, we wanted to dart up another stretch goal to our roster!
Expectedly so, new Races have been a popular suggestion by backers and fans. With the aggressive scope of our game, we began with Humans, Orcs, and Dwarves, but can’t wait to add more characters to Epic Tavern with your help!

We are, honestly, too excited to bring you the first-look at our Female Fighty Human character! Don’t underestimate this petite Warrior, for she will drink even the strongest of Adventurers under the table. She is nearly completed, but we wanted to give our backers a first peek!

Once upon a Spacetime, there was a Medieval Galactic Folktale with Action-RPG and Rougelike influences. Intrigued? We definitely were when we first stumbled upon Spiritus Games’ Kickstarter for Fabular! These awesome guys, who have already been Greenlit on Steam, are in their final days and are hoping for that final push to get them over the finish line.
